The job role

Roles & Responsibilities

The Master Data team contributes to transforming finance processes and systems on a global scale. As part of our Global Finance Processes & Systems Optimization team (FPSO), you’ll be at the forefront of digitalizing our operations and driving the adoption of cutting-edge technologies like SAP S/4 HANA, Ariba, and PowerBi. You’ll play a pivotal role in our finance transformation journey. 

In this dynamic role, you’ll lead the expansion of our Master Data Management (MDM) model in Asia, enriching content, and ensuring top-notch quality controls. With LDC Group’s ambitious systems modernization roadmap and analytics digitization plan, you’ll be instrumental in validating core master data integration across various applications (Front & Back Offices, CRM) during rollouts, replacements, migrations, and M&A initiatives. Collaborating closely with Data Technology & Analytics (DT&A) department (responsible for developments, configuration, and data migration operations), MDM Shared Business Services (SBS) (in charge of master data maintenance), as well as FPSO members from other streams, you’ll ensure the successful implementation and adoption of data standards and processes by business stakeholders. You will also act as the keeper of the Group practices and solutions and propose continuous improvements to fit business needs.  You’ll coordinate different on-going systems implementation projects in your respective master data scope. 

Main Responsibilities 

We are looking for a Master Data Business Process Owner for the Asia region to lead the following activities: 

Project Execution & Coordination 

• Coordinates across teams (Business, Rollout, Migration team) to ensure alignment on planning, mapping, and reconciliation 

• Coordinate resolution and questions within the BPO team and across teams as necessary 

• Manage resources (if assigned) 

• Leads status reporting on migration and cleansing activities  

• Uses standardized templates and Jira for tracking migration steps  

Data Migration 

• Acts as the central point for executing migration activities in sync with SAP S/4 Hana implementation program (BOLD) and front offices Data Migration Leads. 

• Overseas the full migration lifecycle: scoping, data collection, transformation, loading, and reconciliation  

• Validate approach for master data definition across systems and for migration activities including quality & consistency controls. 

• Review and validate pre- and post-migration data quality checks, especially for counterparties (e.g., name, address, tax ID, bank details)  

• Coordinates Group Master Data System (EBX) checks and data loads, ensuring proper interfacing with BOLD systems  

• Aligns with EBX Migration Team and MDM Business Process Owner for validation and publication of master data  

Data Integration 

• Acts as the central point for gap analysis for integrating MDM core model across applications (Front & back offices mainly) while understanding specific local requirements 

• Ensures compliance with MDM Core Model processes and country-specific requirements 

• Participates in Back & Front office Design decisions.  

• Collect and Validate Requirements: Gather and confirm requirements from business stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational needs. 

• Collaborate with DT&A: Work closely with DT&A to develop a data model that meets the requirements of all stakeholders. 

• Drive gap resolution, identified during projects and continuous improvement activities by assessing their impact on the global Core model. Analyze and resolve specific local process and data requirements in collaboration with business and project teams with the support from MDM BPO. 

User Support & Change management 

• Train and Activate: Provide training to all impacted stakeholders and oversee the activation of new processes. Support the BPO team in understanding and presenting the MDM Core model and processes to local teams and facilitate knowledge sharing among MDM BPO team members. 

• Ensure Hypercare Support: Manage the hyper care period by offering quick solutions and support to users. 

The employee should have a good understanding of Master Data, appetite to interact with cross-functional & various project teams and have a strong process knowledge (best practices, key controls etc). He/She should also have a solid experience on IT projects, ideally related to Master Data processes for Accounting, Treasury, and Controlling.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic C&B Programs: Partner with People Leadership to design, implement, and evolve a competitive, scalable total reward strategies and salary framework tailored for a fast-growth tech environment in order to support business goals , attract and retain the top talent.
• Market Benchmarking & Agility: Lead market benchmarking and competitor analysis to ensure our cash, equity, and benefits packages remain highly attractive to top tech talent. Manage annual data submissions for tech and salary surveys.
• Policy and Program Management: Develop and oversee compensation and benefits policies across the EPOS , ensure appropriate local design with global consistency, competitiveness, governance, compliance, and best practice 
• Build the Infrastructure: Design and update job evaluation models, salary bands, and career progression frameworks for new and evolving startup roles.
• Cycle & Budget Ownership: Collaborate with HR leader and key stakeholder to drive the half yearly and annual remuneration review cycles. You will own the data templates, manage cost-modeling, and collaborate with Finance on budget proposals.
• Operational Excellence: Oversee the day-to-day administration of benefits programs, working closely with payroll, regional teams, and external vendors to ensure seamless execution.
• Be the Trusted Advisor: Act as the primary point of contact for C&B queries, translating complex reward structures into clear, transparent communications for managers and employees alike.

• Bachelor’s degree or master’s degree preferably in Human Resources, Mathematics, Business, Economics, Statistics or a related field. 
•  Minimum of 8 years of experience in Total Rewards, preferably in fitetch industry or any relevant industry. 
• Possess a deep understanding of compensation, equity and benefits trends. 
• Solid understanding of remuneration policy and processes, including benchmarking, job evaluation, salary setting and management of incentive plans.
• Strategic and analytical thinking combined with pragmatism, diagnostic skills and hands-on implementation strength in complex Total Rewards topics.
• High comfort level with ambiguity, rapid change, and the ability to pivot priorities quickly.
• Strong business awareness—you understand how compensation structures impact the company’s bottom line and growth runway.
