Role Summary:

The APAC Cost Manager role is responsible to manage a team of FPA Analysts supporting various cost activities, including market month-end closing submission, monthly forecasting process, annual budget process, cost recognition & analysis and other ad hoc reporting. Optimizing GFS Target Operating Model, driving standardization and automation while embedding high performance culture is key to success.

The APAC Cost Manager will report to EMAP Regional FP&A, APAC Revenue & Cost Senior Manager in Malaysia and manage a team of 7. 

Key Responsibilities:

Managing the team

Empower Advocate and Stakeholder Management

·       Optimize Target Operating Model through redesigning processes, roles, and workflows to enhance operational efficiency, scalability, and cross-functional collaboration.

·       Liaise frequently with other GFS managers to ensure that regional processes are being managed optimally.

·       Regular calls with defined stakeholders to resolve outstanding actions. Feedback on team’s performance.

Cost Planning & Analysis Activities

·       Managed APAC cost activities and ensure that all regional/global deadlines are met.

·     Provide day-to-day support and guidance to the team, ensuring that the regional agenda and guidance is clearly understood and that any exceptions or anomalies are identified at an early stage.

·       Leading the Labour TOM support model with Sofia team.

·       Drive fast close and fast forecast initiatives through manual journal reduction and forecast model automation.

·       Build and maintain robust financial models for cost recognition, budgeting, financial management and analysis to support regional decision making.

·       Ensure cost transactions are compliant with Group policy, are suitably documented/evidenced and (where appropriate) monitored at appropriate intervals.

·       Champion the adoption and effective use of emerging technologies, including GenAI.

·       Continually identify process and report improvements that improve quality of deliverables in the finance cost function.

·      Drive a culture of robust operation performance throughout the business by working with the countries to improve consistency and accuracy, especially in support of Finance / Transformation projects and initiatives.

Job description

The Record to Report (RTR) Manager is responsible for designing, implementing, and monitoring internal controls within the broader R2R (Intercompany, Cash Management, Fixed Assets & Leases, General Ledger) and Financial Controllership (Statutory & Tax Reporting and Finance Controller) processes, systems, and teams. Working closely with all R2R functional teams and partnering RTR Balance Sheet Controls Manager.

Role overview and scope:

-       Working with area functional leads to identify, initiate and manage actions to mitigate risks and strengthen controls, including issues identified through audits and other internal processes.

-       Responsible for ensuring risks are profiled and captured in the risk registers and updated if risk events occur; supporting incident reporting process and managing root cause analysis of issues and incidents, identifying and implementing controls improvements.

-       Partnering to functional leads to drive culture of risk awareness and proactive controls within the business. Achieve risk reduction, efficiency and controls targets for the organisation.

-       Addressing opportunities for process improvement initiatives (e.g. standardisation and automations) to ensure controls strengthening and improvement programmes while leveraging available finance systems, data and resources.

-       Working closely with area functional leads on internal audits preparation, coordination and communication following up on audit reports and actions with area functional lead; serve as the primary contact for external audits

-       Considering new risks and controls with scope expansion, integration or transformation projects; lead, guide, and strengthen controls implementation as part of controls adoption.

-       Driving global consistency and adoption of best practices in respective functional area

(1) Program & Transformation Management

• Lead the planning and execution of large-scale COE transformation initiatives across multiple regions and functions.

• Drive end-to-end program management, including: initiative planning, cross-functional alignment, milestone tracking, risk management, launch readiness, post-launch hypercare stabilization

• Ensure successful delivery of initiatives such as: footprint management across COE and BPO teams, operational harmonization across regions, large-scale process transitions and team migrations.

• Drive accountability across stakeholders to ensure timelines, deliverables, and operational outcomes are met.

(2) Operational Design & Process Standardization

• Support the design and implementation of scalable operational frameworks and standardized processes across the COE.

• Work with operational leaders to: identify inefficiencies or operational gaps, define improved operating models, implement governance structures.

• Ensure new processes are operationally viable, scalable, and aligned with regional operational needs.

(3) Stakeholder & Cross-Functional Management

• Act as a key coordination point across multiple operational functions, including Operations, Workforce Management, Product, OPEX, Training, and BPO partners.

• Facilitate alignment across stakeholders to: resolve operational blockers, drive decision making, ensure consistent execution across teams and regions.

• Communicate program updates, risks, and outcomes clearly to leadership and key stakeholders.

(4) Performance Monitoring & Operational Insights

• Track and analyze operational performance during and after transformation initiatives.

• Use insights to identify improvement opportunities and support data-driven decision making.

(5) Change Management & Launch Readiness

• Support the successful rollout of new operational models by ensuring strong change management and launch readiness.

• Coordinate with relevant teams on: communications planning, operational readiness, training alignment, stakeholder enablement.

• Ensure teams are well prepared to adopt new processes and operating models.

• Ensure transparency and alignment across large-scale transformation initiatives.

Role Purpose

To lead financial analysis, modelling, and investment evaluation for the Venture(s), providing strategic insights to the Country Head and senior stakeholders. The role is responsible for driving investment decisions, overseeing portfolio performance, and supporting capital markets activities while managing key stakeholder relationships.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Leadership & Analysis

• Lead financial analysis of the Venture(s), providing insights on performance against budgets, forecasts, and investment targets.

The role

You will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company while contributing to the growth and development of LB’s accounting function. Qualifications & Experience

The Senior Business Planner is responsible for managing end to end supply and demand planning while driving on time delivery (OTD), revenue plan attainment, and days of inventory (DOI) targets.

• Manage forecast and shipment to meet revenue plan

The Senior Packaging Engineer will lead packaging development and qualification activities for WD's HDD and Flash storage products. This is a technically hands-on and cross-functional leadership role — you will mentor junior engineers, drive complex packaging programs, and interface directly with customers, suppliers, and global engineering teams.

You are expected to operate with high autonomy, make independent technical decisions, and represent the Packaging Engineering function in NPI and sustaining programs.

• Develop and qualify new packaging suppliers in Malaysia/ASEAN

• Conduct technical reviews and provide guidance on complex issues

• Train and inspire team members to follow our company's occupational health and safety protocols. Be responsible for investigating work-related incidents and injuries, providing comprehensive reports, and suggesting preventative actions.
• Additional duties involve gathering safety statistics, preparing reports, and carrying out other safety tasks.

The Supply Chain Manager is responsible for managing and optimizing end-to-end supply chain operations for finished pharmaceutical products, ensuring strict compliance with GDP, GMP, and all relevant international regulatory requirements. This role involves collaboration with internal teams and external partners to deliver seamless supply chain performance across global markets. Key responsibilities include:

• Oversight of business operations and coordination with cross-functional stakeholders
• Management of 4PL providers and freight forwarders
• In-market logistics execution, including cold chain and ambient distribution
• End-to-end inventory planning and control to ensure product availability
• Driving continuity of supply through effective S&OP processes
• Leading project-related and interface activities with IT team for SCM process improvement.

The manager is also accountable for enhancing customer service levels and implementing cost optimization strategies, ensuring operational excellence and compliance within the pharmaceutical supply chain.

Demand Planning & Inventory Management

• Leads 18-month rolling demand forecasts across all channels in collaboration with the marketing team, leveraging historical sales data to establish monthly consensus forecasts.
• Coordinates with the central supply chain team to capture demand in the global planning system (Kinaxis).

By analysing long-term demand and RE integration challenges, you will position the company as a Strategic Advisor to the TNB Grid System Operator (GSO) and Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).

Key Responsibilities

• Policy-to-Infrastructure Translation: Analyse the NETR and Integrated Resource Planning (IRP) targets to identify the physical transmission upgrades and BESS capacities required to meet 700MW+ RE integration goals.
• Macro-Grid Stability & Planning: Perform regional load-flow and contingency ($N-1$) analyses using PSS/E or DIgSILENT. Identify "Weak Grid" nodes where BESS can provide synthetic inertia and voltage support to prevent curtailment of solar assets.
