The company was initially set up and registered as Tan Brothers Trading & Construction Co., which commenced operations on the 1st August 1985. The company was solely under the proprietorship and guidance of Mr Tan Soo Chye. On 05 September 2005, Tan Brothers Trading & Construction Co., underwent a restructuring exercise of turning into a “Sdn Bhd” company and changed its name to TBTC Construction & Engineering Sdn Bhd (708493-T). This present company is under the directorship of Dato Tan Soo Chye and Datin S.Chelvamalar. They have been the main driving force behind the Company's development, growth and expansion. The Company's involvement in the various fields of building and civil engineering has seen it successfully completing numerous contracts from both the Private and Government sector.
