Tien Wah Press Holdings Berhad (TWP) is principally an investment holdings Company with a strong presence in the Asia Pacific region. We are reputed as a high quality print packaging company offering top quality materials using state-of-the-art printing technologies. We aspire to become the preferred regional packaging solutions provider in Asia Pacific. TWP's Group of Companies employs nearly 1,000 people across the region, with plants and offices in Malaysia, Vietnam and Australia and the Group is looking to grow and expand its businesses to new geographies. The Group's principal business activity is commercial lithographical and rotogravure printing, mainly for multinational FMCG products. Since its listing on KLSE's Main Board, the Group established various joint venture companies; Benkert (M) Sdn Bhd which operates as a member of the Benkert Group, a major supplier of gravure printed and perforated tipping materials to global tobacco manufacturers, and Paper Based Converting Sdn Bhd which manufactures aluminium foil laminated paper and paperboard for cigarette, liquor and cosmetics packaging. In 2007, the Group completed the acquisition of New Toyo Investments Pte Ltd from New Toyo International Holdings Ltd, a Singapore-based Group of Companies, and the ultimate shareholder of TWP Group. Between 2007 to 2009, the Group expanded its presence into Vietnam and Australasia, through various acquisitions. The Group's manufacturing operations are presently sited at factories located in Petaling Jaya and Puchong in Malaysia, Vietnam-Singapore Industrial Park and Binh Chieu Industrial Park in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam and Smithfield, Sydney, Australia. We were awarded the inaugural KLSE Corporate Sectoral Award 2002 and Industry Excellence Awards for Industrial Products on the Second Board for 1997, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2003, 2004, 2005 and 2006 which is a recognition of the Group's achievements and standards of excellence.
