Mr. Allan Tham, Cepco Electronics Group Managing Director, also the founder of the company started off the business in the year of 2001. Began with Everlight Electronics’ LEDs products, with his vision of expanding and courage, the Company has grown rapidly with the introduction of electro-mechanical product line cards including connectors, switches, and wire hardness products. In the year 2004, the company expanded into the PCB Assembly sector, with the first SMT production line being located in Bayan Lepas, Penang, Malaysia; the SMT plant was specializes in the field of Flex Printed Circuits (FPC) assembly. In year 2005, another major milestone was reached by acquiring Phytech (M) Sdn. Bhd., a distribution company with strong resources in Active and Passive Electronic components. These acquisitions successfully phased Cepco Electronics into the ONE STOP COMPONENTS SERVICE CENTER. In year 2014, Cepco Electronics Group announced the acquisition of 22,000 Sq. feet plant facilities located at Perai Industrial Estate, Penang, Malaysia, which then become the current Head quarter of Cepco Electronics Group. The progress to improving has never stopped. In 2018, Cepco Electronics has reached an agreement with a Research and Development (R&D) Company to form a partnership, from here Cepco Electronics has then expanded the business into electronics module design, manufacturing and supply. The module products ranges from home appliance, power control, lighting modules as well as the sensor for IOT application.
