Pros: I've been working here as a Production Engineer for a few years, and I really appreciate the job security and the overall stable environment. The manufacturing operations are well-established, which means a predictable workflow most of the time. My colleagues are supportive and always willing to help out, which makes a big difference when tackling complex production challenges. There are good opportunities to learn new processes and improve existing ones, especially in the industrial sector. We get to work on diverse projects that help develop technical skills. The work-life balance is also pretty decent for an onsite role in production, usually manageable with a clear distinction between work and personal time.
Cons: Sometimes, the approval processes can feel a bit slow, especially when trying to implement new ideas or changes to production lines. This can occasionally delay project timelines, which can be frustrating. Communication flow between some departments could also be improved to make workflows even smoother. Career progression for a Production Engineer can sometimes feel a bit slower than in other industries.
