Good Place for Stable Career and Learning
Pros: Xerox offers a pretty stable environment, which I really appreciate as a Software Engineer in the business services industry. There's often a lot of opportunity for learning new technologies, especially if you're proactive and willing to dig in. My colleagues are generally supportive, and I've found a good work-life balance with the hybrid work model from our Rochester, NY office. The company's long history in document technology means there's a lot of institutional knowledge to tap into.
Cons: One area that could improve is streamlining some internal processes; approvals can sometimes feel a bit drawn out, impacting project timelines. Also, while there are development opportunities, the promotion ladder for a Software Engineer sometimes feels a bit slow-paced. It's not always clear how to accelerate career growth within specific product groups, especially when dealing with legacy systems that need updates.
Advice to Management: Focus on simplifying internal approval workflows and clearly outlining paths for faster career progression, especially for technical roles in evolving areas like cloud software development. Modernizing some legacy tech stacks would also be a huge boost for innovation.

Solid place if you want stable, remote work
Pros: The remote work arrangement was really good. It made my work-life balance as a Software Engineer way better. Also, the benefits package is decent, not amazing but solid for a corporate gig.
Cons: The company culture feels pretty outdated. It's a big, old player in the printing industry, so things aren't exactly innovative. Getting new tech approved can be a real pain.
Advice to Management: Try to embrace modern ways of working and speed up decision-making. Focus on making the culture more dynamic and less rigid, especially for tech roles.

Pay's okay, but benefits could improve.
Pros: As a Product Manager, the base salary was decent for a large corporate environment, especially working remote from Texas. The 401k match is pretty solid too. You get paid what you're told.
