Pros: I appreciate the engaging engineering projects and the opportunities to learn. Colleagues are supportive and the hybrid work flexibility is a huge plus for work-life balance. It's a stable, global engineering consulting firm with a good culture.
Cons: The career progression can feel a bit slow at times. Also, occasional project rushes lead to longer hours, which is expected in infrastructure consulting, but worth noting.

Pros: The team environment is really supportive, which is great for a global consulting firm. People actually help each other out with project delivery, especially on those tight deadlines for infrastructure projects. There's a decent focus on professional development too.
Cons: Work-life balance can get tough, especially when we're pushing for project deadlines. It feels like managers expect you to always be available, even with hybrid work options. Sometimes, pay raises don't quite keep up with the workload for engineering consultants.
Advice to Management: Try to enforce work-life boundaries more strictly, especially for engineering consultants. Pay needs to be more competitive to match the effort put in on large infrastructure projects.

Pros: I've found the hybrid work model really helps with flexibility. It's good to come into the Sydney office a few days, then work from home. For many engineering consulting roles, that flexibility is a big plus.
Cons: Work-life balance can be tough, especially on tight infrastructure projects. There's often pressure to put in extra hours, and it's not always recognized. As a Civil Engineer, I sometimes felt stretched.
Advice to Management: Try to better manage project loads to prevent burnout. Support true 40-hour weeks for the teams.
