Stable Global Company with Good Culture for Tech Professionals
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time here as a Software Engineer. The team culture in our Madrid office is very collaborative and supportive, which makes coming to work much better. There are always opportunities to learn new tech and grow your skills in this global financial services enterprise. It's a stable company, so you feel secure in your role within the IT operations space, which is a big plus for a hybrid setup. Colleagues are great.
Cons: While the culture is great, career progression can feel a bit slow sometimes compared to smaller tech firms. The approval processes for new projects or significant changes can also be a bit bureaucratic in this large organization. We occasionally have busy periods, especially around project deadlines, which can temporarily impact work-life balance. It’s typical for a company of this size, but something to keep in mind.
Advice to Management: Consider streamlining some of the internal approval processes to allow for quicker implementation of new initiatives. Also, review career development paths to ensure employees feel they have clear opportunities for advancement.

Great place for Operations professionals with good flexibility
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time as an Operations Analyst at AXA Group Operations. The work flexibility here is fantastic; the hybrid work model really helps balance personal and professional life. My colleagues are super supportive, making the work environment collaborative and positive. There are solid opportunities for learning and development in the financial services industry, which has been great for my skills in IT operations.
Cons: While it's a stable company, the promotion path can feel a bit slow sometimes, especially for junior roles. Also, some of the internal approval processes can be a little bureaucratic, occasionally slowing down project execution. It's a minor point, but it could definitely be smoother.
Advice to Management: Focus on streamlining internal approval processes to boost project speed.

Decent for IT operations, but culture needs work
Pros: The pay and benefits for an IT Support Specialist are pretty solid. You get good exposure to enterprise systems in the London office, which is great for your resume. There's job security working for a global financial services firm.
Cons: Work-life balance can get tough during peak periods. The company culture is quite hierarchical, which slows things down. Career growth isn't always clear for junior roles.
Advice to Management: Try to empower teams more and improve transparency on career paths. A more modern approach to company culture would really help retention.
