Good Place for Learning and Career Growth
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time as a Senior Business Analyst at Bristlecone. It's a solid IT consulting firm, especially if you're into supply chain management. The projects are challenging, and I've learned a ton from experienced colleagues. There's a strong focus on professional development and career growth here, which is great for building out your skill set in the tech consulting industry. The hybrid work model from our Noida office is also a big plus for work-life balance.
Cons: While there are many positives, the promotion process can sometimes feel a bit slow compared to other tech companies. It'd be great if the career path was more clearly defined and accelerated. Also, inter-team communication could use some streamlining; sometimes there are overlaps or delays that could be avoided with better coordination among different project groups within the consulting environment.
Advice to Management: Streamline the promotion process to offer clearer and more accelerated career paths. Enhance inter-departmental communication to reduce overlaps and improve project efficiency.

Decent Balance, Client Projects Vary
Pros: The flexibility for WFH is a big plus for me working remote from Chicago. I can usually manage my own schedule for core tasks, which helps a lot. For a corporate consulting firm, they do try to promote some wellness.
Cons: Client deadlines are rough, especially in supply chain consulting. Some weeks, you're easily looking at 50+ hours, which makes true work-life balance tough. It's definitely not always 40 hour weeks, so be prepared.
Advice to Management: Management should really push back on unreasonable client demands. Help project managers protect their teams' time more often, especially for those in core supply chain consulting roles.

Okay Culture for Supply Chain Consulting
Pros: You'll find genuinely collaborative teams here. It's a mid-sized firm so you don't feel like just a number. For supply chain consulting roles, there's good knowledge sharing across different digital transformation projects, which is great for learning.
Cons: The company culture can feel a bit fragmented due to the hybrid work setup. Sometimes, it's tough to feel fully connected. There's also a definite hierarchy that can make getting new ideas adopted a slower process.
Advice to Management: Try to foster stronger team cohesion across the hybrid work setup. More consistent recognition for employees on demanding digital transformation projects would also go a long way in boosting morale.
