Great place to learn and build a career
Pros: I've really enjoyed my time as a Software Engineer here. The teams are super supportive, making it a great place for learning and professional development, especially within financial services IT. There's a lot of stability, which is reassuring, and the hybrid work model in Munich is a big plus for work-life balance.
Cons: Sometimes the promotion process can feel a bit slower than I'd like. Also, like in many larger companies, we occasionally deal with older legacy systems that can be a challenge.
Advice to Management: Continue investing in modernizing tech stacks and streamlining promotion processes to keep talent motivated and engaged.

Decent place, but work-life can be tricky
Pros: I've enjoyed the challenging Software Engineer roles here. It's cool to work on big projects, and the hybrid work option really helps. The team in the Bangalore office is generally supportive too.
Cons: The biggest issue is definitely work-life balance. We often face really tight deadlines, and as a Software Engineer, you can end up working pretty long hours. It gets tough, especially before big releases in this insurance tech space.
Advice to Management: Management should really look at resource planning and project timelines. It's hard to maintain work-life balance when crunch time feels constant.

Solid Security for IT Professionals
Pros: Job security here is really good, which is a big plus. As a global company, Allianz Technology offers a stable environment, especially for core IT roles like mine in enterprise solutions. You don't often worry about sudden layoffs.
Cons: Career growth can feel pretty slow, though. There's a lot of bureaucracy, which can be tough when you want to innovate quickly. It's not a place for fast-paced advancement in financial technology.
Advice to Management: Try to streamline some processes to make it easier for IT professionals to drive innovation. Focus more on career development paths.
