Sales Negotiator

Growth potential is there, if you fight for it
Pros: You learn a lot about the competitive London property market fast, which is huge for a Sales Negotiator. Good agents can really excel and move up the ranks if they hit their sales targets in this established real estate agency.
Cons: Career development isn't always proactive for an estate agency, you have to really advocate for yourself to get advanced. Training could be better for those looking to advance into management roles here.
Advice to Management: Invest more in structured mentorship and clearer career pathing, especially for mid-level sales and lettings agents. It would boost retention.

Leadership can be a real hit or miss.
Pros: As a Sales Negotiator, you get solid training and learn the London real estate market fast. The commission can be decent if you're hitting targets. There's a good buzz within individual teams.
Cons: Leadership is really inconsistent; some branch managers just aren't supportive. It makes hitting your targets as a Sales Negotiator much harder. Also, work-life balance isn't great, especially with required weekend work.
Advice to Management: You guys need to standardize leadership training across all offices. Don't just promote top billers into management roles without actual leadership skills. Support your Sales Negotiators better.

Senior Sales Associate

Decent for now, but property market shifts
Pros: As a Senior Sales Associate, you build good client relationships. This helps your pipeline and stability, even when the property market gets a bit tough. It's an established agency, so it doesn't feel like a startup.
Cons: Job security really depends on market conditions in the London office. If sales slow down, there's pressure on commission-based roles. I've seen some turnover, especially when the housing market dips.
Advice to Management: Try to find ways to support employees through slower market periods, not just rely on commission structures. Maybe offer more training for new market segments.
