Pros: You get to work with advanced welding technology and solar energy products. There's a decent amount of training available, which is great for new Sales Engineers in the Pune office. The job security is pretty solid.
Cons: The pay and benefit package isn't very competitive, especially for experienced technical sales roles. Raises are small, and it's tough to negotiate a better salary even with good performance. I didn't feel like my compensation matched industry standards for this global corporate.
Advice to Management: You really need to re-evaluate the compensation structure for all roles. Bringing salaries up to market rate would help retain good talent, especially in specialized areas like power electronics and welding technology.
