Decent Work-Life, But Expect to Be On
Pros: It's a solid place for a B2B software sales role. The hybrid model definitely helps with not being stuck in the office five days a week. You can usually manage your 40-hour weeks if you're efficient.
Cons: As an Account Executive, you're always on call for client needs. It's tough to fully disconnect sometimes, especially with end-of-quarter pushes. There's pressure to respond even after typical hours.
Advice to Management: Encourage teams to truly disconnect after hours. Reinforce that client responses can wait until business hours when possible to help improve employee well-being.

Tough hours but great team in B2B tech
Pros: The team is super supportive, which really helps when things get hectic. We do have a pretty solid hybrid model, so working from the New York, NY office isn't always a daily thing, which is a definite plus for flexibility.
Cons: Work-life balance here is definitely a challenge, especially as an SDR. The expectations for calls and outreach on our SaaS platform mean consistently long days. You're often working more than 40 hours a week, so it's tough to truly disconnect.
Advice to Management: Try to set more realistic expectations for daily activity from the sales team. It's hard to avoid burnout when you feel like you're always on.
