Decent Flexibility for Renewable Energy Roles
Pros: The hybrid work model is a huge plus. I could work from home a couple of days a week, which really helps manage personal stuff. For Project Engineer roles, they've been pretty understanding if you need to adjust hours occasionally, especially when not on a critical site visit for a solar project.
Cons: Sometimes, especially with international renewable energy projects, you just can't avoid late calls, and that impacts flexibility. The expectation to be in the Berlin office for key meetings still limits true remote work options for some teams.
Advice to Management: Keep pushing for more asynchronous work culture to support global teams and reduce late evening calls for the European staff.

Solid culture for renewable energy pros
Pros: I really liked working with my team; everyone's pretty collaborative, especially for a big international corporate. It's cool to be in the solar energy industry, and the Berlin office has a good vibe overall.
Cons: As a Project Manager, some processes felt pretty bureaucratic, which could slow down project timelines. Career growth isn't always super clear, and it feels like you have to really push for it in this corporate setup.
Advice to Management: Try to cut down on some of the red tape to speed things up. Also, more structured career development plans would help people see their future here.
