Pros: You'll get solid experience in diverse industrial construction projects. The pay for Field Superintendent roles is competitive, and they usually keep us busy when a project is running. There's plenty of onsite work available.
Cons: Job security can be a real concern between big projects. It's tough when a project ends, and you're not sure about the next gig. Sometimes, you're just waiting for the next pipeline or refinery project to kick off.
Advice to Management: Try to create more consistent work pipelines for core roles like Field Superintendents. It would really help with employee retention and overall morale.

Pros: You learn a lot doing the onsite work, especially on different industrial construction projects. There's good exposure to various maintenance services and pipeline projects if you're a Field Technician in the Billings, Montana area. You'll gain solid experience with the tools and safety protocols.
Cons: Career growth isn't really structured for Field Technician roles. Internal promotions are slow, or they just don't happen often. It feels like you hit a ceiling pretty quickly, especially if you're looking to move into management within this corporate structure.
Advice to Management: Create clear paths for advancement for onsite workers. Invest in training for leadership roles instead of only hiring external candidates.

Cons: Job security really depends on the project cycle. When a big job ends, especially for onsite positions in Great Falls, MT, there's always some worry. It's just a reality in this industry.
Advice to Management: Communicate more openly about the project pipeline. It would help ease concerns about layoffs or what's next when a big project finishes up.
