Work-life balance is a real struggle for Amdocs engineers
Pros: You get solid experience in telecom software development. There's good job security, which is important in the IT industry right now. You learn a lot.
Cons: Work-life balance isn't good; expect regular overtime. It's hard to keep to a 40-hour week, even for remote roles, especially during crunch times. Managers push hard for project delivery.
Advice to Management: Management should really look into better project planning to ease the burden on engineering teams. Focus on sustainable work-life balance, not just hitting deadlines.
