Cons: It feels like middle management sometimes struggles, especially when you're part of a remote engineering team. There's often a lack of consistent direction or vision, which makes it tough for individual contributors. Communication from the very top can also be spotty, which isn't ideal for a fast-paced startup environment.
Advice to Management: Focus on building up middle management's leadership skills and ensure they have the tools to provide clear direction. Better transparency and communication across all levels, particularly for our remote engineering teams, would also go a long way in a growing company like ours.
