Cencora Offers Decent Job Security in Pharma
Pros: I've been here as an Associate Product Manager in the Chesterbrook, PA office for a few years. It's a big corporate company, so job security is pretty solid, especially within the pharmaceutical distribution industry. The company is stable and reliable.
Cons: Career growth can feel slow at times for product management roles. It's not always easy to move up quickly, and the hybrid model isn't as flexible as I'd like. Decisions can take a while to get approved.
Advice to Management: Try to speed up internal processes and make career paths clearer for employees. More flexibility with the hybrid work schedule would also be a big plus.

Pay is just okay, benefits are pretty solid
Pros: The health benefits are really solid, and there's a decent 401k match. PTO is fair. Working hybrid from the Chesterbrook, PA office offers good flexibility.
Cons: Salary for Financial Analyst roles feels pretty low, honestly. Raises aren't very competitive, so it's tough to feel like you're earning what you're worth in the healthcare supply chain industry.
Advice to Management: Re-evaluate compensation bands for entry to mid-level corporate finance positions to be more competitive. Invest more in employee retention through better salary adjustments.

Work-Life Balance is Decent, But Depends on Team
Pros: I liked the hybrid work setup; it helped a lot. For us Supply Chain Analysts, there were periods of stable 40-hour weeks. The benefits package is solid for a corporate giant.
Cons: During peak times in the pharmaceutical sourcing cycle, I put in way too many hours. It's hard to avoid burnout when deadlines loom. Leadership sometimes pushed tight turnaround times.
Advice to Management: Try to balance workloads better across teams. Managers need more support to protect their team's time.
