Tough Hours for Project Engineers, but Good Team
As a Project Engineer at ATAL Engineering Group, I've seen both the good and the tough sides. It's a demanding environment, especially in the Hong Kong office, where the engineering sector moves fast.
You learn a lot here, especially if you're new to the engineering sector. The team in the Hong Kong office is pretty solid, always willing to help out when things get crazy.
Work-life balance here is often non-existent for Project Engineer roles. Expect long hours, often 60+ hour weeks, and weekends are sometimes needed to hit project deadlines.
Management really needs to look at staffing levels to reduce the constant overtime for Project Engineer roles. A better work-life balance would help with employee retention.
