Remote work is fine, culture can feel distant
It's a fully remote company, which is great for flexibility. But for a WordPress developer, the company culture sometimes feels a bit too hands-off. That can be tough when you're working on a distributed team.
The work flexibility is awesome; being fully remote is a huge plus. It’s pretty decent pay for web development roles too. You get a lot of autonomy, which I appreciate as a PHP developer working on their core plugins.
The company culture isn't very strong. It's hard to really feel connected in a fully distributed setup. Communication can be a bit scattered sometimes, making cross-team collaboration tough for frontend development tasks. Feels like there aren't many team-building efforts.
Managers should push for more structured team activities. We need better ways to connect as a fully remote team. Improve cross-departmental communication to foster a stronger company culture.
