Assist in developing, testing, debugging, and improving software applications and prototypes.
Support implementation of features related to web platforms, IoT systems, device integration, dashboards, or data-driven applications, depending on project needs.
Participate in troubleshooting technical issues and fixing bugs under guidance from senior team members.
Prepare technical documentation, test records, and simple user or system guides for software functions developed during the internship.
Conduct research or proof-of-concept work on new tools, frameworks, APIs, or emerging technologies relevant to Simbury’s solutions.
Requirements
Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
Basic knowledge of at least one programming language such as Python, JavaScript, Java, C/C++, or similar.
Familiarity with software development fundamentals such as debugging, testing, version control, and logical problem-solving is preferred.
Experience with or interest in AI/ML frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar) is a plus.
Interest in real-world technology applications such as IoT, tracking systems, location technologies is an advantage.
Able to learn quickly, work independently when needed, and collaborate effectively with a small team.
Good communication skills in English and Chinese.
