Assist in and/or lead the execution of corporate finance transactions, including Hong Kong and overseas IPOs, spin‑offs, M&A advisory, placements and other equity/debt financing deals.
Conduct business, industry, financial and legal due diligence, and coordinate with issuers, regulators and other professional parties to ensure smooth project execution.
Prepare and review transaction documents and materials, including prospectuses and listing documents, announcements and circulars, internal approval papers, pitch books, financial models and valuation analyses.
Support and/or lead deal origination efforts by performing sector and company research, transaction feasibility and structure analysis, and preparing proposals and marketing materials.
Liaise closely with internal stakeholders (ECM/DCM, sales & trading, research, legal & compliance, etc.) and external advisers to drive transactions to completion.
Guide and coach junior team members (Analyst/Intern) to improve overall execution quality and efficiency.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Law or related disciplines; professional qualifications such as CPA/CFA are an advantage.
For Associate level:
At least 3 years of relevant experience in corporate finance / investment banking, with solid exposure to Hong Kong IPO or other capital markets transactions.
For VP level:
Typically 5–7+ years of relevant experience, with proven track record in leading deal execution, client interaction and regulator communication, and completion of several successful IPO and/or M&A transactions.
Good knowledge of Hong Kong Listing Rules and SFC/SEHK regulatory requirements; hands‑on experience with sponsor work and IPO execution is highly preferred.
Strong financial modelling and valuation skills; proficient in Excel and PowerPoint, able to independently build models and prepare high‑quality presentation materials and reports.
Excellent communication, coordination and project management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines in a team‑oriented environment.
Fluency in spoken and written Mandarin and English is required; Cantonese is an advantage
