Our client is seeking an Equity Research Analyst to support its investment team in generating high-quality research and actionable ideas across global equity markets.
Responsibilties:
- Conduct in-depth research and analysis on equity markets across the US, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan
- Ensure all portfolio management and trading activities comply with relevant regulations in the US, Hong Kong, Japan, South Korea, and Taiwan, as well as the family office's internal policies.
- Generate and recommend actionable investment ideas to support portfolio construction
- Prepare internal research reports, notes, and investment materials
- Initiate coverage on companies, including publishing reports, presenting ideas, and supporting marketing of investment views
- Track industry developments and interpret market, economic, and geopolitical data
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree or above in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related disciplines
- 3-6 years of relevant working experience in equity or financial research (preferably from sell-side, mutual funds or hedge funds)
- Solid knowledge of financial statement analysis, financial forecasting, and financial modeling
- Full professional proficiency in both spoken and written English and Chinese (Mandarin)
