What We Need
- Join us for a brief call to learn about the technical issues on our website (we'll share the screen and explain)
- Look into the reason why we have the bug on our WordPress website. (Details: We are experiencing a critical layout bug on our homepage carousel slider when trying to remove outdated banners. Whenever an old banner is deleted and the page is refreshed, the site's layout will break completely, texts and images distorting across the entire page. )
- Access our host sever and fix the bug (or guide us to fix it)
- Share technical advice to improve the management of our website
- P.S.: We've tried to clear the cache on Chrome but it didn't work out. Can't find the widget to directly clear the cache within WordPress.
Background
We are having a bug on our website about the banner carousel on our mainpage, which we are unable to fix ourselves. The error prevents us from updating the new event dates and access some pages and using plugins.
What We Have
The volunteer will have all the access rights and a briefing Zoom call with our staff who manages the website. Our staff will share the screen and explain the situation.
Why this is important
Our website is important for promoting our mission, announcing new event dates, and update stakeholders on the work that we are doing, it also allow us to receive online donations from our supporters.
