Role Purpose
Global Digital Transformation Lead is responsible for driving business led digital and data transformation across Bemis, with a strong focus on standardization, integration, and value realization from core platforms including D365, M365, AI, and enterprise data.
This role acts as the bridge between business and IT—ensuring technology investments translate into simpler processes, better decisions, and scalable business capabilities.
While the technical stability, infrastructure, and security of IT are owned by the IT technical team, this role ensures how the business uses systems is standardized, integrated, and outcome driven globally.

Key Objectives (What Success Looks Like)
Within 12–24 months, this role will:
•Establish clear global standards for how D365, M365, and analytics are used
•Eliminate fragmented, local, or workaround system usage
•Enable reliable, standard BI reporting across functions and regions
•Introduce agile analytics and AI use cases that materially improve decisions
•Increase user adoption, data quality, and trust in systems
•Reduce manual work, rework, and dependency on spreadsheets
Core Responsibilities
1. Business Ownership of Enterprise Systems (D365, M365, AI)
•Own the business process design and usage standards for:
oD365 (planning, operations, data consistency)
oM365 (Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive, Loop, Copilot usage)
oAI tools and copilots (where to use, how to govern, how to scale)
•Define global guardrails vs. local flexibility
•Ensure systems enable the business—not the other way around
2. Data Transformation & Analytics Enablement
•Drive the transition from fragmented reporting to standard, trusted BI
•Define:
oCore KPI definitions
oData ownership
oReporting hierarchy (global vs. regional vs. local)
•Enable agile analytics:
oFaster insights
oSelf-service where appropriate
oClear escalation paths when data is unreliable
•Champion data as a business asset, not an IT artifact
3. Process Standardization & Integration
•Identify where inconsistent processes undermine system effectiveness
•Lead cross functional efforts to:
oSimplify processes
oStandardize inputs and outputs
oRemove duplicate or parallel tools
•Ensure end to end integration across planning, operations, supply chain, finance, and quality
4. Change Management, Adoption & Governance
•Drive adoption through:
oClear principles
oPractical training
oRole based usage models
•Establish governance for:
oNew tool requests
oEnhancements
oData and reporting changes
•Balance speed with discipline—enable innovation without chaos
5. Strategic Partner to Global Leadership
•Act as a thought partner to Global Operations & Supply Chain leadership
•Translate business strategy into digital and data roadmaps
•Provide clarity on trade offs, sequencing, and dependencies
•Ensure transformation efforts deliver measurable business outcomes
Required Experience & Profile Experience
•10+ years in business transformation, digital transformation, or enterprise systems
•Strong exposure to ERP (D365 or equivalent) and enterprise data environments
•Experience driving standardization across regions
•Proven ability to lead change without direct authority
