Responsibilities
- Lead a team of multi-disciplinary professionals to plan and carry out both daily routine and ad hoc maintenance and improvement works in commercial properties including both shopping malls and office buildings
- Handle tender evaluation and oversee the preparation of design briefs, tender documents, landlord provisions and tender assessment reports
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders including Government Departments, property managers, tenants, consultants and contractors
- Determine the best practices, standards, safety and/or environmental measures, and manage all technical activities in a safe, reliable, cost-effective and quality manner
- Assist in reviewing the design of new investment properties on layout, building provisions, aesthetics etc.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Building Services Engineering / Architecture / Building Surveying or a related discipline
- A minimum of 12 years’ experience in project management, facilities management, operation and maintenance of commercial / institutional properties, of which 4 years should be at managerial level
- Possession of Corporate Membership of a recognised professional institution, such as HKIE, HKIS or HKIA
- Solid experience in handling routine maintenance and facility management as well as managing A&A/construction works in property sector
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills as well as technical know-how
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with creativity, positive learning attitude and keep pace with the retail market
- Good command of both written and spoken English and Chinese
