About Silver Cross

Silver Cross is the original British nursery brand, trusted by families for nearly 150 years. Based in the Yorkshire countryside in the UK, we bring together heritage, design and innovation to create luxury baby products loved around the world - supported by knowledgeable, passionate people who care deeply about what they do.

The Role

At Silver Cross, product quality, safety and innovation are at the heart of everything we do. As Product Integrity Manager, you will provide senior leadership across our engineering, quality assurance and product compliance functions in China, ensuring our products meet the exceptionally high standards our customers expect from a premium British heritage brand.

Working closely with our UK-based Design, Product and Commercial teams, you will play a critical role in bringing new products to market. From concept through to mass production, you will provide technical expertise and leadership to ensure products are well-engineered, compliant, reliable and manufactured to the highest quality standards.

This is a highly visible role requiring strong collaboration with our manufacturing partners across China. You will drive continuous improvement initiatives, strengthen factory processes and quality standards, and help reduce product issues and after-sales costs through proactive engineering and quality management.

Based in either China or Hong Kong, the role requires regular travel between manufacturing sites and partner factories (Current Provinces: Anhui, Fujian, Zhejiang, Jiangsu, Guangdong). It is an exciting opportunity for an experienced product integrity leader to make a significant impact within a well-established international brand.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the engineering, quality assurance and product compliance functions across our manufacturing operations.
  • Managing, developing and motivating the Quality Assurance team, ensuring clear objectives and consistently high standards of performance.
  • Providing engineering, mass production and quality expertise throughout new product development and existing product enhancement projects.
  • Working closely with UK-based Design and Product teams to translate product requirements into successful manufacturing outcomes.
  • Making informed, timely decisions to prevent project delays and maintain development timelines.
  • Driving best practice standards within manufacturing facilities to ensure quality, safety and performance expectations are consistently met.
  • Acting as the key point of contact for technical, quality and compliance matters, ensuring issues are communicated effectively and resolved promptly.
  • Overseeing the review, testing and approval of products, components and production samples.
  • Visiting manufacturing facilities to assess capability, communicate requirements and ensure continued compliance with Silver Cross standards.
  • Identifying and implementing continuous improvement opportunities to enhance product quality, reliability and durability.
  • Developing and embedding effective operational procedures across engineering, quality and compliance activities.
  • Providing technical support and guidance to UK-based product designers and cross-functional stakeholders.
  • Supporting cost management initiatives through effective engineering and quality-led decision making.
  • Investigating product quality concerns and driving corrective and preventative actions to improve customer outcomes.
