Work you'll do
- Plan and control all phases of IT project including feasibility study, systems analysis and design, procurement and installation ofcomputer systems, programming, implementation, system nursing and maintenance
Manage delivery milestone, obtain approval/ sign-off and initiate billing
- Coordinate with government stakeholders, internal teams, and external vendors to ensure smooth project execution on time and within budget
- Develop project management plans and quality control parameters
- Work with alliance leader to foster relationship with vendor ecosystem to equip with up-to-date technology know-how
Lead business developing including solution design, effort estimate and proposal preparation
- Engage with client senior management to cultivate selected priorities accounts, department and bureau
We are looking for someone with
- Bachelor degree or above in Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related disciplines;
- At least 15 years of post-qualification IT experience including at least 5 years of project management experience in system design and implementation and/or system maintenance and support of IT systems for HK government or related organisations
- Be a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and/or a certified PRINCE2 practitioner
- Experience in serving as SOA-QPS programme manager is preferred;
- Thorough understanding of government IT project processes, regulations, and best practices.
- Excellent project management skills, including planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, able to motivate and collaborate with diverse teams.
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure to meet project deadlines
- Excellent verbal (fluency in English, proficiency in Cantonese, and/or Putonghua) and written (English and Chinese) communication and skills;
- Good communication and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills;
- Ability to work well under pressure.
