Job Overview
You’ll be the vital bridge between the agency and their Mandarin-speaking clients, using your bilingual skills to provide exceptional service while supporting critical business operations. This role offers the unique opportunity to make a real difference in clients’ insurance experience by communicating in their preferred language. You’ll work directly with clients, manage important documentation, and be part of a team that values cultural understanding and personalized service.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am - 1pm Pacific Time (20 hours per week)

Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support to clients in both English and Mandarin Chinese via phone, email, and other channels
- Manage customer files, documentation, and maintain accurate records
- Handle email correspondence and coordinate calendar scheduling
- Answer incoming calls and direct inquiries to appropriate team members
- Identify client language preferences and adapt communication accordingly
- Perform administrative tasks including data entry and file management
- Support daily operations and assist with special projects as needed
- Maintain professional communication standards in both languages
Requirements:
- Fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese (speaking, reading, writing)
- Strong customer service orientation and professional phone manner
- Comfortable working with computer systems and cloud-based platforms
- Bonus if you have insurance industry experience
- It helps if you’re familiar with CRM systems and customer databases

- This is a permanent work-from-home role under an Independent Contractor arrangement. Candidates must have their own computer and reliable internet connection, and are responsible for their own taxes and benefits.
