Responsibilities:
  • Lead the end‑to‑end building services design for major Macau projects, ensuring fully coordinated, technically robust, and client‑aligned MEP solutions.
  • Serve as the primary client interface in Macau, building relationships, managing expectations, facilitating communication, and driving client satisfaction across project phases.
  • Build strong connections with Macau developers, operators, project managers, authorities, and key stakeholders to support delivery and strengthen long‑term partnerships.
  • Oversee multidisciplinary integration with architects, structural engineers, QS teams, client operators, and specialist vendors to ensure seamless delivery and alignment to client vision.
  • Develop design strategies, technical solutions, and risk‑mitigation approaches aligned with Macau regulatory frameworks, operator technical standards, and stakeholder priorities.
  • Review and approve engineering deliverables to ensure technical quality, compliance, constructability, and alignment with client requirements.
  • Provide senior-level technical and project leadership, resolving high‑complexity coordination issues that require deep Macau market knowledge and stakeholder collaboration.
  • Drive quality assurance, technical governance, and continuous improvement across the MEP discipline to reinforce technical consistency across all Macau work.
  • Lead business development activities in Macau, including proposal preparation, bid participation, client presentations, and pursuit strategy for new opportunities.
  • Mentor and develop engineers to build a strong Macau‑capable project delivery team with deep understanding of local standards, expectations, and client engagement needs.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Building Services, Mechanical, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline.
  • Extensive experience delivering MEP design for large‑scale developments, ideally with strong exposure to Macau projects, operators, and authorities.
  • Strong understanding of Macau building regulations, submission workflows, and operator technical standards.
  • Demonstrated capability as the main client interface, including handling expectations, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with Macau‑based stakeholders.
  • Proven leadership managing multidiscipline design teams on large, complex projects.
  • Professional Registration required: HKIE Corporate Member / CEng (or equivalent). RPE preferred; Macau-recognised registration an advantage.
  • Strong ability to resolve complex engineering challenges, maintain quality assurance, and drive technical consistency across teams.
  • Experience building relationships with Macau developers, operators, and authorities, and supporting work‑winning activities in the Macau market.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to represent the organisation at a senior level.
  • Hong Kong and Macau Resident will be considered. However, candidate will be expected to spend 50% of their time in Macau
