Role Objective

To provide effective compliance oversight and practical regulatory advice to support the Company’s regulated activities, manage compliance risks, and ensure adherence to applicable laws, regulations, and governance standards.

Job Duties

  • Provide day‑to‑day compliance support for the Company’s regulated activities, including asset management and AML/KYC matters.
  • Manage regulatory, statutory and operational compliance matters, including regulatory research, compliance reviews, monitoring, and follow‑up of findings.
  • Prepare compliance reports, management updates and Board / committee papers.
  • Monitor regulatory developments (e.g. SFC, HKEX, PCPD), assess business impact, and provide practical compliance advice.
  • Draft, review and maintain compliance manuals, policies, procedures and regulatory correspondence.
  • Liaise with business units and corporate functions to ensure effective implementation of compliance requirements.
  • Support regulatory communications, inspections, enquiries and submissions.
  • Assist with the implementation of new or revised regulatory requirements.
  • Design and deliver compliance training and awareness programmes.
  • Conduct internal reviews and investigations and prepare investigation reports where required.
  • Supervise and provide guidance to junior team members, where applicable.

Requirements

  • Degree in Law, Finance, Accounting or a related discipline.
  • 6-8 years’ relevant compliance experience, preferably in asset management, listed companies or real estate / REIT‑related sectors.
  • Strong knowledge of SFC Type 9 licensing, Listing Rules, Fund Manager Code of Conduct and REIT Code; cross‑border exposure is a plus.
  • Proven ability to provide practical compliance advice with strong analytical, drafting and investigative skills.
  • Detail‑oriented, proactive and able to manage multiple priorities under tight timelines.
  • Experience dealing with the SFC preferred.
  • Fluent in English and Chinese (Cantonese and Mandarin).
  • Proficient in MS Office, including Excel and Chinese word processing.
  • A strong team player who can also work independently.
  • Immediate availability highly preferred.
  • Candidate with less experience may be considered as Assistant Manager - Compliance.
