Job Description:
Educational Requirements
- Degree: Bachelor's in Engineering (Civil, Construction Management) or related field.
- Advantageous: Master's degree for specialized roles, professional body memberships (e.g., HKIE, ICE, CIOB etc).
Technical Skills
- Software: Familiar with Primavera P6 and Microsoft Project is essential; knowledge of BIM (Navisworks, Fuzor) is a plus.
- Planning: Project planning, scheduling (Gantt, Critical Path), narrative, resource allocation, method statement.
- Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with construction methods, regulations, safety, and environmental matters.
Key Competencies
- Analytical: Strong problem-solving and data analysis skills to assess project risks and progress.
- Communication: Excellent written and spoken English (and often Chinese in HK), with ability to liaise with stakeholders.
- Project Management: Sound business acumen, coordination skills, and risk management.
Experience
- 5-year experience in complex projects, often including specific local project experience (e.g., Hong Kong civil/building projects).
Requirements
- Bachelor's in Engineering (Civil, Construction, etc.), strong skills in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project), and experience in project planning, scheduling, and logistics, especially within the construction, plus great analytical, communication, and problem-solving abilities to manage complex project timelines and resources effectively.
