Assist to conduct cost studies and prepare estimates for projects at feasibility study stage.
Assist in the process of procurement of consultancy services contracts.
Assist to prepare the annual budgets, conduct value-engineering, cost reconciliation exercises and checking of cost plans.
Monitor the tendering of construction works contracts and checking of procedural compliance.
Conduct post-contract administration functions and monitoring the procurement of Prime Cost Rate Items.
Oversee issues in relation to Extension of Time and Monetary Claims and Consultancy Fee Claims.
Monitor the progress of the finalization of final accounts and vetting of the PQS's assessments.
Assess Project Consultants' payment applications in connection with consultancy services contracts and employment of site supervision staff.
Procure and administer in-house minor contracts, term contracts and after-sales contracts.
The Person
Degree holder in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
Possess professional qualification of MHKIS (QS) or equivalent.
Minimum 7 years’ post qualification experience in quantity surveying practice, particularly in tender documentation, contract management, estimation, cost planning and control, preferably with experience in large scale local residential/commercial projects.
Good understanding of pre and post contract quantity surveying professional practices.
Strong managerial, supervisory and interpersonal skills.
