You Will Be Responsible For
- assisting in the design, development and implementation of district security strategies, incident response procedures, policies and standards;
- assisting in the management of security operations in district venues, including but not limited to, supervision of security personnels, operation of security systems, and coordination with other venue stakeholders on security matters;
- assisting in the control of operational technologies such as access card systems, guard tour equipment, intruder / burglar / fire alarm systems, and CCTV systems;
- assisting in the coordination of the district’s security guarding / patrol functions, various venues’ control room operations, public open spaces, car parks, etc, and relating to enforcement of the Authority’s By-law issues;
- assisting in the development and implementation of staff training programmes, security drills and assisting in internal and law enforcement agency investigations;
- assisting in the management of security and safety incidents including event security and crowd management; and
- performing any other duties from time to time as reasonably assigned by the Authority.
You Should
- Possess a recognised university degree and have at least 2 years of experience in security industry OR Possess secondary school standard or above and have at least 5 years of experience in security industry;
- have at least 2 years in supervisory role, in which service in law enforcement agencies will definitely be an advantage;
- possess a valid Security Personnel Permit (SPP);
- have sound knowledge of security systems, including intrusion alarm systems, access card systems and CCTV systems, security and safety incidents management and performance management of security personnel;
- possess sound knowledge of relevant legislation in the field of security;
- be able to communicate and collaborate with different working levels of personnel;
- be proficient in written and spoken English and Chinese; and
- be willing and able to work on irregular hours or shifts as and when necessary.
