As an Associate in the Insurance and Cybersecurity Practices, this role will involve handling solicitors' negligence cases, financial lines related matters (both defence and coverage), cybersecurity and non-contentious insurance regulatory matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Advising clients on complex matters including contentious and non-contentious insurance matters, insurance regulatory and insurance related commercial matters
- Acting as a member of the JSM Cyber Response Team for cybersecurity incidents
- Acting as defence and indemnity panel solicitors for Solicitors’ Indemnity Fund matters
- Acting as coverage and defence counsel in professional negligence and D&O claims
- Advising on insurance regulatory matters including licensing and compliance
- Reviewing, negotiating and advising on insurance related commercial matters
- Contribute to marketing the firm’s initiatives, particularly within the area of specialisation

Skills and Experience
- 2 to 6 years of relevant post qualification experience in general litigation practice; experience in handling insurance matters or cyber matters is an advantage
- Excellent command of English (written and spoken) and Chinese (written and spoken)
- Strong interpersonal skills, commercial acumen and client management skills
- Dynamic, self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Strong good team player
