Applications are invited for appointment as Technical Manager in Centre for Virology Vaccinology and Therapeutics Limited (Ref.: CVVT/2026/TM/D06) to commence as soon as possible, on a two-year or three-year basis with the possibility of renewal subject to funding availability and satisfactory performance.
Responsibilities
Proactively manage and help oversee all administrative, financial and operational activities related to Health@InnoHK program and laboratory management issues;
Preparation for various annual reports, assist visits and some operational issues
Handle HR matters, order procurement;
Coordinate cross-department meetings about lab safety issues;
Collaborate with other institutions in the preparation of seminar and visit management;
Supervision of technical and junior staff;
Perform additional duties as assigned by the supervisor.
Requirements
A bachelor's degree;
At least 15 years of work experience, preferably in the higher education sector.
Excellent written and spoken English and Chinese (including Putonghua);
Effective administrative, communication and organizational skills;
The ability to solve ad hoc problems with tight deadlines, work multi-task and under pressure.
