Job Overview

noissue is seeking a commercially driven and strategic Purchasing & Vendor Manager to lead our global purchasing strategy, vendor performance management, and quoting excellence across our supplier base. Based in Hong Kong and reporting to the VP Supply Chain, this role is responsible for managing our annual product spend, driving cost optimization initiatives, strengthening supplier accountability, and building scalable systems to support rapid growth.

You will play a critical role in identifying cost-saving opportunities, negotiating commercial terms, and developing strategies that deliver measurable impact. Where performance or cost targets are not met, you will work closely with sourcing to transition products to new suppliers or regions.

This role also oversees the accuracy and efficiency of our quoting processes, partnering with Sales and Tech to improve tools, simplify data, and leverage AI to streamline workflows.

You will lead and develop a team based in China, with frequent travel expected to suppliers and regional colleagues. Cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Logistics, Order Management, and Tech is central to success in this position.

Key Responsibilities

Purchasing Strategy & Cost Management

Own and optimize global product spend, driving structured cost-reduction initiatives aligned to margin targets. Lead supplier negotiations, track savings delivery, and partner with Sourcing to transition products where cost or performance expectations are not met. Provide clear reporting and visibility on cost performance.

Quoting & Cost Data Excellence

Ensure accurate, up-to-date cost data and deliver quotes to Sales within SLA. Standardize and simplify pricing data and governance processes. Partner with Tech to enhance the internal quoting tool and leverage AI to improve automation, accuracy, and efficiency.

Product Information Management (PIM) Governance

Own the integrity and governance of the PIM system, ensuring all supplier-provided product data — the foundational dataset that underpins our business — is accurate, complete, and up to date. Define and enforce data standards, manage update workflows with suppliers, and drive accountability for data quality across the supply base.

Vendor Performance Management

Establish and manage a KPI-driven vendor framework covering cost, quality, service, and compliance. Lead performance reviews, improvement plans, escalations, and supplier exits where required, while building strong strategic supplier relationships.

Team Leadership & Capability Building & Cross-Functional Collaboration

Lead and develop a China-based team, driving accountability, capability growth, and continuous improvement. Enhance systems and adopt technology to increase efficiency and scalability.

Work closely with Sales, Logistics, Order Management, and Tech to ensure competitive pricing, strong supplier performance, and scalable systems. Provide clear insights and reporting to the VP Supply Chain and leadership team.
