ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Corporate IT Partnership & Strategy Execution
- Collaborates with corporate IT teams to maintain brand standards and implement enterprise-wide technology initiatives while adapting to property-specific needs.
- Maintains transparent, ongoing communication with corporate IT leadership regarding implementation progress, challenges, and business impact.
Strategic Leadership & Technology Implementation
- Develops comprehensive property-level technology implementation plans that translate corporate IT strategies into operational reality, sequencing initiatives effectively and managing interdependencies.
- Partners with property leadership (Operations, Finance, Engineering) to ensure technology effectively supports all business functions and aligns with business objectives.
Organizational Alignment & Stakeholder Engagement
- Persuades property leadership, department heads, and teams to embrace corporate technology strategies by articulating clear business cases and competitive advantages.
- Builds organizational consensus around technology priorities and secures resources and commitment for complex implementations.
Cloud Infrastructure & Digital Transformation
- Leads property technology initiatives within a predominantly cloud-based ecosystem, managing and optimizing major cloud platforms for efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Implements automation initiatives to modernize hotel operations and enhance guest experiences.
Cybersecurity & Compliance Leadership
- Ensures compliance with global cybersecurity policies and maintains up-to-date security protocols across all systems.
- Implements and manages comprehensive security measures including antivirus, web filtering, patch management, and access controls.
Guest Experience & Operational Excellence
- Ensures technology systems enhance guest experiences and support superior service delivery.
- Oversees property management systems (PMS) and guest-facing technologies, implementing data analytics solutions for guest personalization and operational efficiency.
Project Management & Vendor Relations
- Leads complex technology projects from planning through implementation and evaluation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Manages vendor relationships and contract negotiations while maintaining transparent communication regarding project progress and outcomes.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Minimum 5 years of IT leadership experience, preferably within the luxury hospitality industry
- Proven track record of managing complex technology environments and leading digital transformation initiatives
- Expert-level knowledge of major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Strong understanding of cloud security and automation
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interface with all organizational levels
- Proven ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical stakeholders
- Deep understanding of hospitality industry technology needs and guest experience requirements
- Knowledge of hotel operations, revenue management, and guest service delivery
