What You’ll Be Doing
- Frontend Infrastructure Development: Participate in or lead the building of frontend engineering infrastructure, including scaffolding, customization and optimization of build toolchains (Webpack/Vite/Rollup), CI/CD pipeline design, and release system development — improving overall team R&D efficiency and delivery quality.
- Tooling & Standards Development: Participate in the development and maintenance of shared utility libraries; establish relevant standards and specifications and drive their adoption across business teams; identify redundant implementations and extract reusable, generalized solutions.
- Performance & Stability: Lead or deeply participate in performance optimization initiatives, with end-to-end experience in areas such as initial page load, runtime performance, and bundle size reduction; capable of independently diagnosing and resolving complex production issues.
- AI Engineering Exploration: Stay current with AI-assisted development tooling; have hands-on experience integrating AI tools into real workflows to improve efficiency; hold informed opinions on the direction of AI applications within the frontend engineering domain.
What We Look For In You
- Bachelor's degree or above in Computer Science or a related field; 5+ years of frontend development experience, including at least 1 year with a clear focus on infrastructure work.
- Deep understanding of the underlying principles of modern frontend frameworks (React/Vue) — not merely surface-level usage.
- Proficient in configuring and extending mainstream build tools (Webpack/Vite), with practical performance tuning experience.
- Has independently completed at least one infrastructure module from scratch (component library, scaffolding tool, CI/CD pipeline, monitoring platform, etc.).
- Strong technical documentation skills — able to clearly articulate the background, design rationale, and outcomes of a given solution.
Engineering Mindset for the AI Era
- Understanding AIUnderstands the probabilistic nature of AI tools; does not treat AI outputs with deterministic certainty; knows where AI is and isn't appropriate.
- Has hands-on experience with mainstream AI coding assistants (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.) — not just conceptual familiarity.
- Using AIAble to decompose complex engineering requirements into AI-executable tasks, and effectively guide and evaluate AI outputs.
- Has established a personal AI-integrated workflow in practice, with concrete examples of efficiency gains.
- Maintains strong code quality standards and does not use "AI-generated" as justification for relaxing design judgment.
- Critical AwarenessCapable of independently reviewing and critically assessing AI-generated code; does not blindly trust model output.
- Knows which parts of a system require mandatory human oversight; maintains security and compliance awareness.
