Job Summary
Lead the design and modernization of enterprise data platforms using advanced architectures such as
Data Fabric, ensuring scalability, security, and high performance. Drive analytics enablement and platform innovation to support business intelligence and advanced insights in a banking environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Enterprise Data Architecture
- Design and implement enterprise-level data architecture leveraging Data Fabric principles for seamless data integration and accessibility.
- Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses/lakehouses, and data marts to support analytical and operational needs.
- Data Platform Modernization
- Assess and upgrade existing data infrastructure to ensure scalability, agility, and cost-effectiveness.
- Integrate cutting-edge technologies and cloud-native solutions to optimize data processing and storage.
- Analytics Enablement
- Build robust analytics frameworks and predictive models to enable data-driven decision-making.
- Ensure high-quality, consistent, and timely data delivery for reporting and advanced analytics.
- Technology Innovation & Research
- Conduct proof-of-concepts (POCs) and research to evaluate emerging technologies, frameworks, and tools.
- Implement best practices for data integration, security, and compliance across the enterprise.
- Risk Management & Compliance
- Ensure data integrity, security, and adherence to regulatory and industry standards.
Identify and mitigate technical risks in data architecture and modernization initiatives.

Requirements
- Familiarity with Banking Industry IT landscape.
- Banking industry experience.
- Proficiency in Cantonese and English (spoken and written).
- Strong expertise in data architecture, Data Fabric, analytics, and platform modernization.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms, big data technologies, and data integration tools is a plus.
