About The Job
Based at the
Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong Corporate Office, the
Digital Learning Intern – Service Essentials will support the design, development, and deployment of a new episodic digital learning series focused on Mandarin Oriental’s service culture mindsets, known as
Service Essentials.
The intern works closely with the
Digital Learning Manager,
Senior Designer, and
P&C Coordinator to deliver 12 interactive learning episodes across
Phase 1 and Phase 2 by October 2026.
This is a
7‑month internship, and we welcome
immediate availability.
As the Digital Learning Intern – Service Essentials, you will be responsible for:
Interactive AI Video Development
- Develop 6+ interactive AI videos from March to September using AI workflows, templates, and creative direction.
- Create storyboard images, animate scenes, design multimedia assets, and compile video sequences using a range of AI and multimedia tools.
- Build interactive videos with branching decision paths to simulate service scenarios that bring Mandarin Oriental’s Service Essentials to life.
- Support scriptwriting, scenario design, dialogue, and on‑screen text for realistic guest‑interaction storytelling.
Multimedia Production & Platform Deployment
- Configure and launch interactive videos on the Docebo Learning Management System (LMS), including decision‑path mapping and scenario branching.
- Prepare and organise production assets such as images, clips, audio, subtitles, and storyboards while maintaining a structured digital asset library.
- Apply revisions based on feedback from the Digital Learning Manager, Director of Talent Development & Special Projects, Regional L&D Directors, and key stakeholders.
Project Coordination
- Track production progress and maintain episode rollout timelines across both phases.
- Coordinate with global stakeholders (Corporate Office, properties, L&D contacts, Regional Directors) to gather inputs, clarify requirements, and schedule review cycles.
- Support the creation of communication materials including teasers, launch announcements, and usage guides for each release.
As Digital Learning Intern – Service Essentials, we expect from you:
- Bachelor’s degree or current studies in Media, Communications, Education, or related fields preferred (or equivalent experience in content creation).
- 0–2 years of experience in multimedia production, visual storytelling, instructional design, content development, or project coordination.
- Strong visual storytelling skills with an eye for pacing, layout, and brand consistency.
- Ability to write and refine dialogue, especially in guest‑interaction and colleague‑interaction scenarios.
- Hands‑on experience with tools such as Canva, CapCut, or similar multimedia software; enthusiasm for testing new AI‑based platforms.
- Strong organisational, communication, and time‑management skills.
- A proactive mindset with curiosity, ownership, and creative problem‑solving ability.
