Responsibilities

Job Description:

Identify and develop new business opportunities in structural steelwork, steel fabrication, and metalwork projects in Hong Kong
Leverage personal client and supplier networks to generate tender opportunities and new project leads
Build and maintain long-term relationships with main contractors, developers, and procurement decision-makers
Prepare tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities for structural steelwork and metal construction projects
Lead cost estimation, budgeting, and financial management throughout the project lifecycle
Manage procurement activities, negotiate with suppliers to optimize cost and quality
Monitor project progress, track variations, and ensure adherence to budgets
Work independently and report directly to senior management

Requirements

Higher Diploma or above in Quantity Surveying, Civil/Structural Engineering, or related discipline
Minimum 5 years of QS experience with solid background in structural steelwork, metalwork, or aluminium construction
Existing client base or established network within the structural steel / main contractor sector is highly advantageous
Candidates from small to medium-sized subcontractors with all-round, hands-on QS experience are strongly encouraged to apply
Experience in NEC 3/NEC 4 contract administration is an advantage
Strong commercial acumen, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
Self-motivated, able to work independently and report directly to management
Fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin; working knowledge of English
