Job Description
- Design, implement, and maintain network automation solutions with an automation‑first approach.
- Develop and manage Ansible playbooks, roles, and inventories for network provisioning and changes.
- Automate configuration, deployment, and validation across LAN, WAN, and cloud networks.
- Build and improve self‑service and zero‑touch provisioning workflows.
- Collaborate with network, security, and infrastructure teams on automation use cases.
- Lead troubleshooting and root cause analysis for network and automation failures.
- Establish standards, templates, and best practices for network automation.
- Integrate automation with monitoring, CI/CD, and ITSM tools where applicable.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship on automation frameworks.
The Successful Applicant
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise networking or network engineering.
- Strong, hands‑on experience with Ansible for network automation (mandatory).
- Solid understanding of network protocols (e.g. BGP, OSPF, VLAN, TCP/IP).
- Experience automating multi‑vendor network environments (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto).
- Proficiency in Python or scripting for automation and integration.
- Familiarity with network automation frameworks, APIs, and version control (Git).
- Experience with cloud or hybrid networking environments is a plus.
- Strong troubleshooting, documentation, and operational mindset.
- Fluent in Cantonese; able to communicate effectively with local stakeholders.
