Responsibilities:
- Conduct independent reviews to assess the effectiveness of internal controls and processes, including those against Group policies, procedures and plan, HKMA’s regulations, Government laws, and industrial standards
- Plan and perform audit assignments to ensure audit objectives are achieved and aligned with approved audit programs
- Work closely with management and business units to provide practical and actionable recommendations to strengthen internal controls, operational efficiency, and risk management processes
- Utilize data analytics in audit engagements to identify control gaps and opportunities for improvement
- Handle ad-hod duties as assigned by supervisors
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related disciplines; professional certification such as CIA, CISA, CISM, CRISC, or CISSP.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in auditing; preferably in information technology, financial institution and/or payment industry.
- Critical thinking, detail-oriented and strong sense of accountability and ownership.
- Strong ability in using data analytics in conducting audit testing.
- Confident, mature, and independent with strong analytical, interpersonal and communications skills.
- Proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese.
