Job Description
- Design and maintain scalable data warehouse structures using star and snowflake schemas
- Develop and enhance ETL/ELT pipelines across multiple internal and external data sources
- Support data migration activities with robust profiling, cleansing, and validation controls
- Build and maintain dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools
- Deliver regulatory and management reporting aligned with MPF and compliance needs
- Perform ad-hoc data analysis to identify trends, risks, and operational improvements
- Translate business and regulatory requirements into technical data specifications
- Monitor data quality metrics and support remediation initiatives with delivery partners
- Coordinate and support UAT activities for data warehouse and analytics deliverables
- Work closely with analysts, product owners, and compliance teams to meet reporting obligations
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree or above in a quantitative or technology-related discipline
- At least 3 years' experience in data analysis, data warehousing, or BI environments
- Strong hands-on SQL skills across Oracle, PostgreSQL, or SQL Server platforms
- Practical experience with ETL tools such as Informatica, Talend, SSIS, or Azure Data Factory
- Solid understanding of dimensional modelling and data warehousing principles
- Experience in financial services, pension administration, or public sector projects is advantageous
- Familiarity with MPF operations, regulatory reporting, or Hong Kong compliance frameworks is a plus
- Awareness of data privacy standards such as PDPO and GDPR
- Strong analytical mindset with high attention to data accuracy and integrity
- Effective communicator able to bridge technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proficient in Cantonese and English; Mandarin skills are an advantage
