Job Description
This role requires a deep understanding of global commercial operations and market dynamics to optimize business performance and make informed financial decisions.
- Serve as the primary finance business partner on all commercial finance matters
- Review monthly management reporting
- Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company's long-term growth objectives.
- Partner closely with the broader client engagement community to ensure a consistent approach to driving performance, forecasting and planning.
- Leverage a deep understanding of global commercial operations, including pricing and individual sector and geographic market dynamics, to optimize the performance of the business.
- Constructively challenge the Commercial team on target setting.
- Use KPIs and financial metrics to monitor, challenge and drive business performance.
- Lead the evaluation, provide financial insights and make decisions on commercial opportunities.
- Understand the customers and competitors to ensure our commercial decision-making is informed by this knowledge.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or a related field, with professional CPA qualification
- 15 years of experience, with extensive experience in a senior finance role, preferably within a global commercial environment
- Proven track record of developing and implementing financial strategies
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing a team
- Deep understanding of global commercial operations and market dynamics
- Proficiency in financial forecasting, planning and performance management
- Ability to constructively challenge and influence senior stakeholders
- Strong knowledge of KPIs and financial metrics
- Competitive in investment appraisal and business case evaluation
