Responsibilities:
Support the implementation of the HKIA Carbon Reduction Programme, including the HKIA Net Zero Carbon Pledge and the Business Partners Carbon Support Programme, through close coordination with internal and external stakeholders
Lead carbon auditing for business partners participating in the HKIA Net Zero Carbon Pledge
Develop case studies and new sustainability initiatives for senior management consideration, including project scoping, option evaluation and implementation planning
Manage external consultants and contractors supporting the delivery of carbon‑related projects
Lead external verification processes, including Airport Carbon Accreditation, to support AA’s public sustainability commitments
Provide accurate and timely carbon‑related data for internal and external reporting
Conduct site visits as required to support project development and stakeholder engagement
Support AA’s participation in external sustainability activities, including ISO 14001 monitoring, conferences and industry forums
Support the coordination of publicity and engagement initiatives to promote good environmental performance across the airport community
Support other sustainability programmes, projects and initiatives as assigned
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Studies, Sustainability or other related disciplines
- Training as a carbon auditor and possession of a valid driving licence are an advantage
- Minimum 6 years’ relevant working experience in sustainability, preferably with exposure to carbon management
- Proven track record in liaison and engagement with internal and external stakeholders
- Strong presentation and communication skills, with the ability to deliver high‑quality written and verbal outputs
- Solid planning and project management capabilities
- A self‑disciplined team player who is also able to work independently
- Ability to think strategically and pragmatically
- Excellent command of both written and spoken English & Chinese (i.e. Cantonese & Putonghua)
- Proficiency in MS Office (i.e. Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
