THE TEAM

You will join the Development team, dedicated to growing our portfolio across the Asia‑Pacific region through thoughtfully designed, strategically aligned projects. This role reports directly to the Vice President, Development, APAC and works in close partnership with Feasibility & Business Intelligence, Design & Project Services, Legal, Operations, and Finance teams to bring new developments from concept to completion.

YOUR ROLE

As Director, Development, APAC, you will play a central role in shaping the strategic growth of Rosewood Hotel Group’s portfolio across the region. You will identify and secure new development opportunities, lead complex negotiations, and act as a trusted representative of the Rosewood brand with owners and partners. Your work will directly support the long‑term success, integrity, and expansion of our portfolio, while collaborating closely with senior stakeholders across the business.

HOW YOU’LL MAKE THE PLACE

• Identify and pursue development opportunities to expand Rosewood Hotel Group’s brands across APAC
• Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, developers, investors, and strategic partners
• Evaluate sites, concepts, and project proposals, providing clear recommendations on brand fit and commercial viability
• Lead the preparation of business proposals, pitches, Letters of Intent, Term Sheets, and RFP responses
• Negotiate commercial terms of management agreements in line with company guidelines and market best practice
• Act as the lead coordinator across internal teams to progress deals from initial opportunity through to conclusion
• Represent the Group at industry events and forums, acting as a brand ambassador at all times
• Support deal handover and ongoing coordination through pre‑opening phases to ensure successful project delivery

COULD THIS BE YOU?

• You bring strong experience in hospitality development, real estate, finance, consulting, or feasibility environments
• You are commercially astute, with the confidence to structure and negotiate complex management agreements
• You are credible and polished when working with owners and developers at a senior level
• You have a strong understanding of hospitality real estate markets and regional development dynamics
• You are entrepreneurial, proactive, and highly motivated to identify and progress new opportunities
• You are financially literate, with a clear grasp of deal economics and value drivers
• You communicate fluently in English; additional languages are an advantage
