Job Description
- Design and enhance end-to-end data pipelines and analytics models for enterprise data platforms.
- Partner with architects, developers, data providers, and business users to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Lead data modelling, ETL structure design, integration logic, and reconciliation controls.
- Support BI and data warehouse issue resolution through root-cause analysis and optimisation.
- Define data quality standards, exception handling, and traceability frameworks.
- Analyse new data sources and assess impact on existing models and pipelines.
- Document functional and non-functional specifications for scalable data solutions.
- Bridge business needs and ETL logic by resolving data discrepancies efficiently.
The Successful Applicant
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or related disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years of IT experience, including data warehouse or BI projects.
- Strong hands-on experience with SQL development and stored procedures.
- Solid knowledge of dimensional modelling, star and snowflake schemas.
- Experience with Power BI, SSAS, and data security concepts.
- Familiarity with data quality management and ETL architecture principles.
- Exposure to Hadoop, Python, Java, Docker or OCP is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills in English and Chinese (Cantonese or Mandarin).
- Proactive mindset with strong problem-solving and multitasking abilities.
